At Peirce Mill, we use giant recirculating pumps to turn the waterwheel. Last August, our pumping system failed.
Since then, we’ve been unable to run Washington’s last working gristmill.
The Friends of Peirce Mill are working with Rock Creek Park on these urgent repairs to our recirculating pumps.
With your help, we can get the waterwheel turning again next year.
